Alongside our assessment practice, QuantumFlo is developing a software development kit that brings NIST post-quantum cryptography to federated learning systems: quantum-safe key establishment with FIPS 203 (ML-KEM), signed model updates with FIPS 204 (ML-DSA), and AES-256-GCM protection of gradients in transit, with native wrappers for Flower, NVIDIA FLARE and OpenFL.

The prototype is validated against the NIST standards with measured overhead of 0.2 percent on encrypted gradient payloads and demonstrated rejection of tampered updates. It is currently at prototype stage and is the subject of federal research proposals.
